Departure point is the city of Kardzhali from where you will be transferred to the starting point of the kayaking trip - lake Studen kladenets. All night stays will be in the lovely rural cottage Mihaela Lake Retreat
Every day will let you experience the divine beauty of Eastern Rhodope Mountains and its rich history. Wildlife diversity is one of the highest in Europe - here is the kingdom of the birds of prey. The kayak experience in day 2 will surprise you with spectacular setting of dramatic green slopes, Thracian remains of prophecies on the rocks and majestic fortress walls on top of the mountain hills.
Blue lake water surrounded by picturesque shores and rich flora welcomes you to jump into the kayak and paddle. Rare birds like griffon vulture and black stork roam in the sky. Many herons and cormorants will also share this adventure day in the lake. You will arrive on the shore of a small island where the Follow deer is the host - dozen of them roam freely on the island and give a birth to their babies there. This is a land of absolute peace, managed by the nature itself. Highlight of this day is a romantic waterfall with fresh clean water and couple of great swimming spots.
The amazing start of the fourth day will load you up with energy for all day long. Outstanding bird life, majestic rocks, and green forests on the way. Idyllic chapel with magnificent view and impressive wall of the lake are the highlights of this tour. This last evening and all days you enjoy the view at the lovely cottage with organic meal and smiley hosts.
On the last day of this unforgettable kayaking adventure you will visit the Thracian city of Perperikon to discover more about history of the Eastern Rhodope mountain. Transfer back to the city of Kardzhali. Expected time of arrival in Kardzhali is 13:00 o'clock.

Level of comfort: Sleep during this kayak tour is organized in a comfortable cottage in a beautiful rural setting with stunning view at the lake Studen kladenets. All meals are prepared by the host of the cottage. The menu is organic with products coming from local farms. Vegetarian food is available upon request.
Difficulty grade: You need to be in average physical condition. Some parts could be a challenge, but in general the trip is easy going.
